Eurostars Hotel Excelsior Naples

We absolutely loved our stay at this luxurious hotel on the waterfront! The location was unbeatable, with fantastic seafood restaurants right across the street in the marina. The views from our room and the rooftop terrace were breathtaking, especially with Mount Vesuvius in the background. The staff here went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The receptionist who checked us in was particularly helpful, providing excellent recommendations for local restaurants and cafes. The room itself was beautifully decorated and the bed was the most comfortable we've ever slept on in Italy. The breakfast spread was delicious, with plenty of healthy options to choose from. the service and quality of this place were exceptional!

The room and bathroom were wide and comfortable, with a lovely sea view. The staff was exceptional and always available to help. The hotel had a beautiful and old-style charm, with delicious food and a romantic rooftop bar/restaurant. The valet parking service was efficient.

I had a fantastic experience at a hotel in Naples. The location was superb, with plenty of restaurants and the old town just a short stroll away. The map they provided was a helpful guide for exploring the area. The hotel had a rooftop bar and restaurant with breathtaking views of the sea and Mount Vesuvius. Despite the minor inconvenience of breakfast not being good value for money, there were plenty of great dining options nearby. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. I would highly recommend this hotel for its beautiful location and charming atmosphere.

The Eurostars Hotel Excelsior offers fabulous rooms with excellent air conditioning. The staff are extremely helpful and take great pride in the hotel. The head barman is a true professional and adds to the charm. We loved the location and the stunning view over Naples Bay with Vesuvius in the background. It's also conveniently located near good restaurants, the port for boat trips to the islands, and the train station for Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast.

Great location - quiet despite the view of the street, yet close to the center. Beautiful view of the Neapolitan Gulf. Nice room and large well lit bathroom. Very tasty breakfasts. Nice and helpful staff - you can leave your phone to recharge at the reception.

Breakfast of perfectible quality, nothing compares to an Austrian 4-star! The friendliness of the staff is very contrasted.

I recently stayed at this place, and I have to say I was impressed with the beautiful view here! The terrace was amazing, with a breathtaking 180-degree view of the coast, overlooking Castel dell'Ovo. The staff here were really helpful, checking us in with great advice on the best local restaurants and cafes. My room was luxurious, with tea and coffee facilities, a mini-bar, and a large bathroom with free toiletries. The staff was always friendly and professional, and the customer service was superior. The hotel also had a lovely leisure pool and Jacuzzi with a sun terrace that was perfect for relaxing.

I highly recommend this venue.

The hotel had a beautiful location, overlooking the water. the view of the bay was stunning. the beds and bedding were extremely comfortable, providing a great night's sleep.

The hotel was quite far from downtown and transportation. This made it expensive and inconvenient to reach the trains for excursions.

Great location. A very good hotel, a spacious room, big bed and services of a first class hotel.

The price of breakfast, I actually opted for breakfast out.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city, close to many good restaurants and coffee bars. It is also situated on the riviera, offering stunning views of the sea. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and some even come with balconies overlooking the beautiful surroundings. The breakfast buffet is of a very high standard, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day.

The lack of information provided by the front desk staff about the hotel's facilities is a major drawback.

staff was friendly and helpful, service was very fast. location has been great, directly at the sea and you can reach a lot of naples by foot. room was large.

only downside: the room had a somewhat distinct smell, is probably due to the old building and is often found in old hotels in italy. this is barely noticeable during the stay, clothes take the smell a little.

Amazing sea views and excellent location close to marina and old town. Room was spacious and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. Perfect for exploring the city and accessing ferries to nearby islands. Highly recommended for a great stay in this beautiful city. 🌊

Comfortable bed and large bedroom

The noise. The sound insulation is very insufficient, you can hear the doors slamming, the neighbours' TV, the noises on the floor.

The building and general maintenance are very good.

Because of the type of hotel, there was a lack of bath salts to use in the bathtub. The fruit juices were not naturally squeezed.

Waking up to stunning views of Vesuvius was the perfect start to my day. The old-fashioned decor was lovely and gave a feeling of luxury. The rooftop terrace was a delightful spot for a drink. I enjoyed my stay at this grand hotel.

we had a very large suite. decor is getting old. the view was sensational. one could raise the shutters from the bed and look at the gulf of naples and vesuvius. beautiful roof terrace.

on departure, our luggage was parked in the lobby and when we picked it up, we did not check whether it belonged to us. anyone could have just taken it with them. the friendliness at the reception was moderate.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Naples that was located right on the sea, offering a stunning view of the bay. The interior of the hotel was grand and luxurious, with beautifully appointed rooms. The service was outstanding, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast provided was top-class, with gourmet dishes that were a true work of art. The location was perfect, with easy access to all attractions either by quick cab rides or walking by the sea.

One small downside was that the hallways and stairways could have been cleaned a bit better.

Great Location, Amazing Views! The hotel is situated in a prime location along the Bay of Naples, with breathtaking views of the bay and Vesuvius. It is conveniently located near excellent restaurants, shops, and services. the pedestrian, only street adds to the charm of the area. Additionally, the rooftop restaurant and bar offer spectacular views and are a must, visit, even if you're not staying at the hotel.

The view

The location of this hotel was perfect, we were right on the coast with a stunning sea view. We were within walking distance to many restaurants along the waterfront and the famous castle where all three routes of busses meet. Our room was spacious and clean with traditional style decoration, and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning. The staff were friendly and helpful.

There was a christening one day. and we asked for 8 coffees and wanted to have a dessert and they came 1h30 later because they were busy and we... We are also hotel guests!

The location is fantastic, the breakfast is great, the air is stately, very quiet and safe area overlooking the gulf.

The bed was HORRIBLE, it was the same age as the hotel...super soft, fine mattress that you could feel the springs...very uncomfortable. It is a basic when you pay more than 165 euros a night .. this detail makes us not return ..

I recently stayed at this hotel for a few nights and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The location of the hotel is fantastic, with stunning views overlooking the sea and within walking distance to many great restaurants. The staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant throughout my entire stay. Another great aspect is that it's conveniently located near the ferry ports, making day trips to places like Capri a breeze. I would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

superb location with views of the port and castel dell ovo. we could explore the old town and also the castles on foot. basically, subway or the cable railway is within walking distance. taxi airport about 20-30 minutes, should cost 30€! there are cheaters on the way who also take the double, so agree on a fixed price in advance! overall in naples no critical situation, although via toledo very full and therefore at corona times mouthguard with ffp 2 very useful.

Lovely room with a gorgeous view. Great location close to the port and perfect base to explore Pompeii, Vesuvius, Herculaneum, and the villas. The roof terrace is perfect for relaxing with a cocktail after a day of sightseeing.

Excellent location. The hotel is located right by the promenade with a beautiful view. Breakfast or dinner on the terrace is impressive. . Rooms are large, clean and well equipped. The room has a living area and a balcony... Bathroom with bath and shower. Two washbasins. Very comfortable. . Delicious and very varied breakfast.

The bar's a bit expensive. I recommend going out to the promenade or under the castle. More alcohol at a better price.
